The Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area is the natural site par excellence to get in touch with wildlife and it’s less than 45 minutes from Quebec City.  Come and discover its breathtaking landscape on foot, along 20 km of hiking trails.  Here you’ll find a wealth of information on Cap Tourmente’s fauna, flora and history, which is also the history of Côte-de-Beaupré, the birthplace of New France.
Did you know?  This historical site will celebrate its 400th anniversary in 2008.

Major Canadian Bird-watching Site
The Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area is a great bird-watching site.  It’s also a staging area for one-of-a-kind Greater Snow Geese, which flock there by the  thousands every spring and fall. 10th ANNUAL PHOTO CONTEST
